DESERT MULE DEER
Our
Desert Mule deer hunts in Sonora Mexico offer the
die-hard Mule deer hunter one of the best opportunities
in North America to take a record class animal! Our
ranches occupy some of the best Mule deer habitat
available, and the quality of the bucks we have taken
prove this. We have produced deer that have scored as
high as 216 typical and 244 non-typical. The 2003
season produced 10 bucks for 12 clients with 7 being
over 30 inches! Our 2004 season produced 9 bucks for 12
hunters with 5 being over 30 inches! One of those bucks
was over 36 inches wide!
The hunts will be
conducted from comfortable ranch houses that are
equipped with hot and cold running water, electricity,
showers and modern toilets.
These hunts will
take place in January, during the peak of the rut, and
will consist of spot and stalk, and tracking.
As with the Coues
hunts, Mexican law requires a minimum of a .243 to a
maximum of a .300 magnum. Hunters should bring a rifle
that they are familiar with, and one that they can
handle fast, due to the close proximity that your shoots
may require. Pusch Ridge Outfitters will handle the
processing of your paperwork, including license, tags
and gun permits. We will send you all the required
forms once you have booked.
These hunts will
sell for $10,000.00 plus your license, tag
and gun permits. You may also take a Javelina for the
trophy fee of $500.00, as long as you have
the required permit. There are a few Coues Whitetails on
the properties as well. These deer may also be harvested
for a $4,000.00 trophy fee as long
as the license has been purchased in advance. |
