MEXICO DESERT BIGHORN

Our hunts for the magnificent Desert Bighorn in Mexico are conducted on some of the largest private ranches and reservations in the state of Sonora. Our properties have some of the highest concentrations of Desert sheep in Mexico. We are normally allotted four permits based on aerial surveys done after the hunting season. Normally these are allocated on a (1) permit per (10) class three rams seen, so this tells you of the concentrations of quality rams we have.

Hunts take place from November through February, with the hunt duration lasting 10 days. Most rams taken score in the high 150s to high 160s, however there are rams there that will score much higher if the client is capable of holding off and hunting hard.

Hunts include lodging in the ranch house, great Mexican food, five to six guides, all transportation in Mexico, and airport transfers. The only exclusions are the license, tags and gun permits and the hunter’s own personal items and optional tips.  Hunters will fly to Hermosillo, Sonora where we will personally meet them and escort them through customs.
